After graduating from the University of Liverpool with Honours in 2008 I completed my surgical training in Merseyside. I have also worked in Melbourne - Australia as well as visiting units in Cape Town - South Africa, Fukushima - Japan, Baltimore - USA and West Palm Beach - USA to develop my specialist interest in limb reconstruction surgery.
My practice encompasses general orthopaedics and trauma of the upper and lower limb in children and adults.
I have specific expertise in the management of complex trauma, bone infection, non-union, post-traumatic arthritis, limb lengthening and limb reconstruction using internal lengthening nails, external fixators and circular frames, acquired and congenital deformity correction, congenital disease, skeletal dysplasia and metabolic bone disease.
I regularly attend national and international conferences and meetings to keep up to date with new developments in these fields and I am actively involved with education and research. A full list of publications is available here.

I currently prepare specialist interest orthopaedic reports related to paediatric and adult trauma, particularly in the field of limb reconstruction surgery.
I am familiar and compliant with the current requirements of an Expert Witness, and have achieved the Cardiff University Bond Solon Civil Expert Certificate as well as completing training with Inspire MediLaw. I am registered with the Information Commisioner’s Office and have previously held accreditation with MedCo.
Approximate turnaround time for Medico-Legal reports is within 10-15 working days of examination providing all records and imaging are provided prior to the appointment.
Abridged Medico-Legal CV, Terms & Conditions (including Fee schedule) available on request.
